OnStreet: Birna

Birna was just taking a small break at the Damsquare when our intern Simone spotted her warm Nordic attire and was struck by the inspiring color combo of her hair, backpack, bike, scarf and coat. Birna is from Reykjavik, Iceland, where she studies in the preperation year for Fine Arts. She was on her way to meet her boyfriend who lives in Holland. Thank you for sharing these beautiful colors with us, I can't wait to combine them myself!

OnStreet: Eva

Our intern Hannah met Eva on the Amsterdam Waterlooplein, where she was shopping at the market. Eva studies
studies 'lifestyle and design' and is passionate about fashion.

In all it's simplicity lies the true magic of black: Big black woolen shawl, poncho trimmed with black leather edges and pockets, black vintage bag (we often sell bags like this in our stores), black jeans, black sturdy army boots, finished with orange lipstick and a diversity of shiny rings on her fingers. Q-day special: How to pull of a queensday proof outfit

Queensday is coming up! Only one week to go. Many people in Holland will start wondering what to wear next Monday. Pull out that same old goofy orange hat or sunglasses? We thought it would be nice to give you a little orange flavored inspiration. Stuff that we could imagine wearing ourselves without feeling like a total costume party escapee. In the end it all depends on combining colors, textures and prints and staying true to your own style. And don't forget about what kind of queensday you aim for: rummaging around the early morning flea markets or dancing to the beats of one of the open air concerts? Wanted to die your hair? Now is a good opportunity to give it a try ;-) In the end just make sure you wear comfortable shoes....

InSpire: Roller Derby Ready (with a twist)

Wow, what an awesome night we had to kick-off our new cooperation with BULLET MODELS. Thank you so much for showing your support and celebrating this new venture at our Amsterdam store with us last Friday. Pics will follow soon in a little event report right here on our blog. After this great first edition of our Scout night out (it will become a regular one night a month kinda thing), we would like to share our very own rollerskate model Veerle with you.
