That's what we call great timing ;-) He's back! E.T. Still wandering around the web with our mind in space, we found the following incredible story on 'Lost at E-minor' :

From the Ripley’s file comes this story from Cosham, UK, where 76 year-old Margaret Wells was recently re-united with her full-size handmade E.T doll after it washed up on the shore off Old Portsmouth, five miles away from her home. The doll, which had earlier been stolen from her home, was mistaken for a drowned human, resulting in a frantic call to the local police who returned the doll to Wells: ‘He has lost a finger and looks a bit roughed up. But he has a smile on his face’.
